Welcome to my little piece of the net. There has been a lot of changes in my life since I graduated high school. I have worked in publishing companies in Marceline making pictorial history books. Then I went to work in Illinois making business cards and other items for different government agencies. I came back to Missouri a few years ago and started designing gifts and apparel for an online company. The other highlights of my life is that I got married and then had a little baby girl in 2007. Till next time!

Branson Vacation

My family and I just got back from a trip to Branson Missouri. Everyone kept telling me how it was going to be so cold, and that there was going to be so many people in town we wouldn't be able to enjoy ourselves. And they were partly correct, the town was very busy, but to top it off some of the stop lights weren't working, so there was police men directing traffic. Unfortunately the traffic was so backed up it took forever to get from one side of the town to the other. But on the bright side of things...The weather was beautiful, the temperature was in the upper 60's the entire time we were there. And even though there was so many people in town, the Branson atmosphere still kept everyone in a good mood.

We stayed in a beautiful resort called "Holiday Hills". They offer nightly rentals for one or two bedroom condos. We stayed in a two bedroom condo that overlooked a beautiful golf course. It had all the comforts of home, microwave, refrigerator, washer/dryer, dishwasher, and t.v. It even had a whirpool tub!

Some of the attractions we went to were the Ballknobbers. I would highly recommend watching them if you go to Branson, if you enjoy comedy and country music. We also went to Silver Dollar City. I have been there a couple of times before, but probably wont go back. Unless you enjoy amusement parks, I feel that you will be spending more then what it is worth. Walking in Silver Dollar City is like walking down a street in the 1800's. There are craftsmen that make candles, candy, and much more. That is what I like about Silver Dollar City, but if you want to buy something there it will cost you three times as much as you would pay in a normal store. But if you like amusement rides, you can ride as many as you wish, and it will cost you just what you have to spend to walk in the front entrance.

There is so much to do and see in Branson, Missouri that I had a wonderful vacation there, and hope to go back there very soon. Until next time, always look on the bright side of things!
